A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Planning Validation Technicians team. You will be providing support to the Planning service in the validation of planning applications and other associated functions, as well as providing guidance to customers to ensure the service meets its statutory obligations.
The postholder will be expected to attend our offices for a minimum of two days a week, with the possibility of undertaking home working on a number of days once comprehensive training has been completed.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are offering a great opportunity for someone to join as a Planning Technician. You will support our Business Support operations, assisting in validating planning applications and supporting other functions for Cheshire East Council. The role requires focus, hands-on involvement, and monitoring performance to meet service demands and KPIs. You will need to adapt to legislative changes, which may involve further training and process updates.
You will develop skills such as:

* Evaluating service provision against legislative changes
