BJF Group is a leading multidiscipline Main Contractor based across the UK, specialising in delivering high quality construction projects across various sectors priding ourselves of our reputation for excellence and attention to detail.
Within our Facilities Management division, the small works team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of planned minor works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client's sites.
Position
To deliver electrical project consisting of DB replacements single phase and three phase. EV charger installations including large CSA SWA cables into commercial feeder pillars. Installation of metal containment systems and commercial lighting installations. Be able to review and conduct various levels of EICR testing including large commercial buildings and fill out EICR reports. Also carry out EICR remedial works
Assisting project management with pricing of works ranging from £3k upwards
Experience in carrying out electrical testing and installation in commercial environments
Understand your responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of your team and the wider group, whilst promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout.
EICR Testing & remedial works
EV Charger, Feeder Pillar and CSA SWA cable instillations
Emergency light installations & Repairs
Commercial plantroom installations including boiler wiring & Installation of metal containment systems
Large panel board and DB replacements
Working to small scale drawings for lighting installations
Pump and motor installations
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you will need to hold the following qualifications:
Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (2357)
Testing & Inspection (2391) or equivalent
18th Edition Full Classroom Course & IET Wiring Regulations (7671)
ECS Card
Full UK Driving License
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
