Job Description
Our PMO Yorkshire Northeast team aims to expand its Controls community. We seek passionate, ambitious candidates across all professional and managerial levels to support early careers, grow into leadership, and foster our values, especially "Bringing out the best in Everyone."
With regional growth including new major programs, projects, and clients, we need flexible, mobile Planning and Scheduling, Performance Reporting, and Risk Management professionals to serve our region. Travel within Yorkshire and the Northeast is required, depending on the project. In return, you gain access to diverse sectors such as Power, Water, Rail, Mass Transit, Local Authority, and Shipyards, with opportunities for professional growth and autonomy.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Tailoring reporting processes to meet client needs and best practices.
* Delivering performance and reporting management plans based on project requirements.
* Promoting performance reporting and analytics within project teams.
* Implementing and maintaining reporting systems to track project controls performance.
* Collaborating with project teams to establish accurate performance measurement baselines.
* Rolling out reporting calendars for consistent performance data delivery.
* Working with project controls to define data requirements and support digital systems.
* Developing and maintaining corporate datasets.
* Providing guidance on data quality issues.
* Preparing governance materials for projects and programs.
* Recommending performance recovery actions.
* Supporting KPI development and performance measures.
* Creating project performance reports and dashboards.
* Preparing presentations for governance forums and reviews.
* Contributing to Communities of Practice.
* Training clients and team members on reporting processes.
Qualifications
* Experience in project or program environments is essential.
* Understanding of how other Project Controls aspects interact with Reporting.
* Proven ability to identify and document reporting and data requirements.
* Knowledge of Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys) is desirable.
* Experience with data analysis tools (Power BI).
* Understanding of data, architecture, and models.
