We’ve partnered, once again with a long-established manufacturer in Glossop who are adding a brand-new support role to their purchasing department.
As the Buying Assistant, you’ll support the Senior Buyer and wider department with everything from ordering and reporting to supplier management and admin. It’s a newly created position where you’ll be a key part of the team, keeping things organised, efficient and running smoothly every day.

What you’ll get

About you
· You have 1–2 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain
· You’re confident using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs
· You’re organised, dependable and detail driven
· Work well independently and can take initiative
· Enjoy being that go-to person who keeps everything in order
· You’ll build positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers
· Happy working on-site 5 days per week
· You’re looking for a stable, long-term role where you can settle in, do a great job and be appreciated for it
About the Role
· Support the Senior Buyer with purchasing, sourcing and supplier management
· Manage orders, monitor stock levels and keep systems up to date
· Produce reports and assist with data analysis
· Help resolve invoice or delivery queries
· Get involved in continuous improvement projects and contribute ideas
