POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the job holder maintains the equipment and infrastructure in good working order to ensure optimal production conditions. Performs developed preventative/predictive maintenance tasks.
PRIMARY DUTIES
§ Perform preventative maintenance service to machinery and equipment in a timely manner in line with the planning communicated by the Supervisor.
§ Check for problems on the equipment and/or infrastructure and organize the work, following the diagnosis of the problems found and estimated time to repair,
§ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic assemblies, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operational manuals and manufacturer’s specifications.
§ Identifies potential equipment failures and take preventive action.
§ Propose solutions for improvement of the production tools
§ Document maintenance repairs performed (e.g. complete worksheets, check the water meters) and complete technical records (e.g. managing technical documentation, executing electrical and mechanical drawings)
§ Carry out all operations in compliance with all legal and Company policies and procedures, regarding EHS, storage, housekeeping.

Minimum Requirements
1. OTC OR HTC in mechanical engineering.
2. 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
3. Working with pumps and pumping systems.
4. Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, general plant engineering.
5. Able to read and interpret mechanical plans and also to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic issues
6. Able to read and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
7. Availability to work on call during weekends.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
8. Proven time served mechanical engineer- minimum 4 years’ training.
9. Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, willing to improve systems and to adapt to new technologies.
10. Be able to respond to demands and to make decisions in a short period of time.
11. Team-oriented
12. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
13. Must have organizational skills
