We re now looking for an exceptional Restaurant Manager to lead this exciting restaurant into its next chapter. The Role of Restaurant Manager: As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day leadership and smooth running of Gilpin Spice. You ll champion guest experience, team development, operational excellence, and commercial performance. You ll work closely with the Head Chef, F&B leadership, and the wider hotel team to ensure Spice continues to shine as one of the Lake District s most exciting dining destinations. What You ll Be Doing as a Restaurant Manager: Leads with warmth, confidence, and personality to set the service tone and deliver exceptional, memorable guest experiences. Maintains a visible floor presence, anticipating needs, resolving feedback swiftly, and elevating every stage of the guest journey. Recruits, trains, coaches, and inspires a high performing, collaborative front of house team within a positive and inclusive culture. Drives continuous development through structured briefings, skills training, and regular performance conversations. Oversees daily operations with precision, ensuring consistency, efficiency, immaculate standards, and full compliance across SOPs, health & safety, and allergen management. Manages labour planning, rotas, holidays, and resource allocation in line with business needs and service demands.
