Job Description
LTA / Reed Education are seeking a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Rossendale area. The role is a part-time position covering 5 afternoons per week from 13:00-16:00. The role is a temporary position, starting ASAP and is expected to last until the end of the academic year.
The candidate must have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and must hold a valid paediatric first aid certificate
It will be advantageous if the candidate has experience of working with non-verbal children with ASD.
Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:
•Monitoring targets for future progress•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers•Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils•Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school’s practice•Excellent behaviour management skills
