Are you ready to consolidate and further develop your neurological OT skills within a supportive community multi-disciplinary team?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who’s eager to expand their knowledge and skills in the Community Integrated Neurology & Stroke Service (CINSS).
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist neurological occupational therapy assessment and rehabilitation services to individuals with diagnosis of stroke and neurological diagnoses.
* Support the CINSS service across geographical bases in LLR (Melton, Market Harborough, Braunstone, Hinckley and Loughborough). If successful, working base will be discussed and agreed.
* Autonomous practitioner: manage your own caseload and deliver specialist assessment and rehabilitation/maintenance therapy programmes to maximise independence and quality of life.
* Supervision and support: opportunity to supervise and support our technical instructors, Band 5 rotational OTs and OT/Physiotherapy students to build clinical knowledge, skills and confidence.
* Team working: join a specialist MDT team providing patient-centred, goal-directed neurological rehabilitation in community and outpatient settings.

Experience & Qualifications
* Previous work within the clinical area of stroke and/or neurology as a Band 5 or Band 6 OT is required.
* Previous clinical experience working in the community setting is desirable but not essential.
