Job Summary:
As a Telehealth BCBA at Guiding Hands ABA Therapy, you will provide high-quality ABA
treatment, support, and training to maximize client progress through telehealth services. Your role involves leadership, coordination, and the supervision of a dedicated team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians. This fully remote position requires expertise in developing individualized treatment plans, overseeing behavior interventions, and ensuring effective training for families and staff.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
● Develop, monitor, and modify individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans
tailored to telehealth delivery.
● Conduct initial and ongoing remote assessments of client skills and needs.
● Provide telehealth-based parent training, ensuring open communication and support for
generalization and progress.
● Oversee clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with insurance and HIPAA
requirements for telehealth services.
● Conduct regular data analysis, progress reviews, and care adjustments through virtual
platforms.
Supervision and Training:
● Provide virtual leadership and supervision for RBTs and other direct care staff.
● Conduct remote RBT competency assessments and ensure ongoing compliance with
BACB requirements.
● Offer virtual staff training and professional development sessions to enhance team
capabilities.
Administrative Duties:
● Maintain accurate electronic records, schedules, and treatment notes in the practice
management system.
● Ensure timely submission of telehealth-related documentation for audits and billing
purposes.
● Collaborate with families, therapists, and other stakeholders via video conferencing to
coordinate care.
Operational Excellence:
● Meet productivity and billable hour expectations through telehealth service delivery.
● Identify and address clients’ additional support needs, such as high-risk behaviors or
family training, using virtual resources and tools.
Qualifications:
● Master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
● Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
● Minimum of 2 years of BCBA experience, including remote/telehealth services.
● Proficient in using ABA assessment tools and best practices within a telehealth
framework.
● Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills suitable for remote
interaction.
● Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and insurance requirements specific to telehealth
services.
● Reliable internet connection and technology to deliver telehealth services effectively.
Preferred:
● Supervisory experience with RBTs and completion of the BACB Supervision and
Experience module.
● Experience in addressing high-risk behaviors and developing specialized programming remotely.
