Join our onsite security team in London Bridge, working within the security management team. As a shift supervisor, you will be responsible for shift operation and the security team on site, incident and emergency management and escalation. You will play a crucial role in protecting the client's estate, assets, personnel, and events ensuring compliance with security industry standards and keep up the on‑site security teams through effective collaboration and communication.


Responsibilities

* Responsible for day to day security team activity.
* Manage the security team uniform, SIA and attendance.
* Monitor the access shared emails.
* Responsible for DOB system.
* CCTV monitoring & surveillance: Operate and monitor state‑of‑the‑art CCTV systems, ensuring continuous surveillance of key areas with new technology implemented to enhance monitoring.
* Incident Management & Response: Coordinate responses to security breaches, unauthorised access, and emergency situations, ensuring prompt and effective action as per SOPs.
* Communication & Coordination: Act as a central point of contact for security officers, workplace teams and stakeholder.
* Access Control & Alarm Systems: Handle the company's access control system to include the management of access group within the system and provision of recertification data on request. Monitor the building alarms ensuring a proficient response compliant with current security protocols.
* Disruptive Effects Framework: Base the implementation of security strategies designed to mitigate risks and enhance safety.
* Emergency Procedures: Assist in crisis situations, coordinating responses with relevant teams and emergency services to base the security management team.
* Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the security management system, log incidents, and adhere to AI's and SOP's.


Person Specification

* Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Ability to communicate confidently at all levels including stakeholder engagement.
* Ability to manage own workload to meet team deadlines.
* SIA DS & CCTV License (mandatory for the role).
* Previous experience in a supervisor and management, demonstrating the ability to maintain composure and a calm demeanour in a pressurised setting.
* Aptitude to work on a variety of security systems unique to the contract (full training will be given).
* Ability to analyse security data and make informed decisions.
* Knowledge of travel risk management and ability to review multiple data sources to formulate a cohesive report to EY Staff.
* Good all‑round understanding of site security procedures and SOP's acting as a focal point of contact for staff members of all levels within the business.
* Understanding of the Disruptive Effects Framework and its application in security.
* First Aid & Emergency Response Training (preferred).
* Willingness to learn and develop and show high level of duty and professionalism.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, Teams and SharePoint and ability to stay current with system information, changes and updates.

* Follow group and company policies and procedures at all times.
* Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
* Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
* Report any issues or training needs to your line manager and/or via your divisional incident reporting system.


Information Security

* Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities.
* Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager.
* Report actual and suspected security incidents.


Mandatory Requirements

DS SIA, CCTV SIA, 1 year supervisor or management experience.
