You’ll contribute to the development of advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS) that power next-generation electric and hybrid powertrains. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of vehicle electrification, working on cutting-edge technologies that improve efficiency, reliability, and sustainability. Responsibilities: Define and manage system-level requirements for Battery Management Systems using PLM tools such as Windchill. Develop and maintain MATLAB/Simulink models to support system design and simulate battery performance and behaviour. Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to design and document BMS architecture, focusing on the left side of the V (system definition and modelling). Collaborate with suppliers to ensure key components such as sensors, ECUs, and battery modules meet system and safety standards. Support Verification and Validation (V&V) activities, analysing test data and ensuring compliance with automotive performance and safety requirements. Work across cross-functional teams (hardware, software, and powertrain) to support BMS integration within the overall vehicle architecture.
