We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our Supported Housing team in Fleet. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting individuals to rebuild their lives, develop independence, and move forward positively.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver tailored emotional, practical, and housing-related support to clients
* Manage referrals, including interviewing and risk assessing new clients
* Develop and review personalised support plans and risk assessments
* Support clients to maintain tenancies and access welfare, health, and external services
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies
* Assist in managing rent, arrears, and tenancy compliance
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and performance data
* Facilitate group and one-to-one support sessions
* Promote safeguarding, health & safety, and equality at all times
* Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
* Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is empathetic, adaptable, and committed to supporting vulnerable people.
Essential skills and experience:
* Experience working within a similar role or supporting vulnerable individuals
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, support planning, and risk assessment
* Knowledge of housing and welfare benefits systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good IT and administrative skills

£12,031.24 per annum
