Your New Role
As a Civils Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of a new Transport Infrastructure Project that will shape a major Irish City.
This scheme includes circa 10km of road widening, cycle paths, utilities works, drainage and a minimum of 4 bridge structures. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
1. Manage all site staff and subcontractors
2. Plan and deliver projects within budget and schedule
3. Ensurepliance withpany, health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures
4. Monitor and control project resources and progress
5. Maintain high standards of quality and quality construction
6. Liaise with clients, designers, and project teams
7. Chair project and subcontractor meetings,pile reports
8. Maintain contractual records and submit O&M manuals
9. Introduce innovations and control contract costs
What You Will Need to Succeed
This role will require previous experience in a similar management role, working on large scale projects and taking the lead across various civil and structural disciplines. Some key requirements and traits will include:
10. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
11. Ability to manage large-scale projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
12. Proficient in project planning, scheduling, and resource management
13. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management software
14. Proven leadership skills to manage diverse teams and resolve conflicts
15. Excellentmunication skills for effective stakeholder interaction
16. Expertise in risk identification and mitigation strategies
17. Skilled in managing project budgets and cost control
18. Willingness to travel as required for project oversight.
19. Full UK driving licence.
