Description Job Description: As part of the Equity Technology team, an opportunity exists for a technically oriented individual to join the small Securities Finance team. The role will focus on building, maintaining and supporting our Global Securities Finance platform – supporting front and middle office users in multiple time zones. Key Responsibilities & Tasks: This role entails hands-on coding responsibilities in Java and related frameworks. Develop, test, and maintain multiple Securities Finance foundation and functional products. Working closely with technology leads to implement functional components for the project that contribute to the Sec Fin product suite. Contribute to the DevOps stream as a part of the product buildout and adhere to the CI/CD protocols. Maintain and enhance support documentation. Qualifications/ Experience: 10 years of coding experience in core Java, Spring framework and messaging framework Experience building distributed and enterprise application. Strong SQL/MySQL knowledge, experience with Redis, Kafka, Snowflake is a plus. Jira, Bit Bucket & Bamboo, CI/CD & DevOps, GitHub Copilot understanding is a plus. AWS working experience is a desired. Understanding of Securities Finance/Prime Brokerage, preferably with prior experience in this or a related area. Additional Skills: Excellent communication skills Ability to work with colleagues around the world Ability to run projects independently collaborating with other technology peers (i.e. Prime Brokerage Technology Team).
