The Opportunity – Automotive Technician Role
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our growing workshop team. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for an experienced mechanic looking for better work-life balance without compromising on pay or job satisfaction.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance, and diagnostic work across a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, and routine maintenance
* Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
* Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards
* Accurately record work completed using job cards and service documentation
* Work collaboratively within a professional workshop team
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic role
* MOT Licence advantageous but not essential
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
* NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent preferred)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
