The Role : Area Sales Manager
This full-time, permanent Area Sales Manager position with Bostik offers the chance to join a respected name in the construction sector and represent products used every day by merchants and contractors across the UK. You'll work with the full range of Bostik construction and consumer sealants and adhesives, partnering with national merchants such as Jewson and Travis Perkins, alongside independents and buying groups.
Covering East Anglia, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, you'll take ownership of a well-established territory. Your week will be varied and engaging-visiting a range of customers, hosting trade days, improving POS, and collaborating with Regional Managers on special in-store promotions. You'll also deliver hands-on product training, helping merchant teams build confidence and product knowledge.
A key focus will be nurturing strong, long-term relationships, supporting customers to broaden their stock ranges, and ensuring agreed stock levels are consistently met. Reporting and admin are completed through Salesforce.
What We're Looking For
To be considered, you will:
* Already hold a field sales or territory management role, or be working in a builders' merchant or trade distribution business (ideally in sales)
* Enjoy building long-standing customer relationships
* Be analytical and comfortable using data to shape effective account development plans
* Be open to occasional overnight stays
* Hold a full driving licence

* £30,000-£35,000 basic salary (DOE)
