Finance Manager – Consultancy Business (London / Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £60,000 + benefits
We are partnering with a leading consultancy business who are seeking a Finance Manager to play a key role in delivering high-quality financial / management reporting and analysis across its international operations. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will act as a trusted partner to the senior leadership team and ensure strong, timely, and compliant financial processes across the organisation.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations and provide accurate, insightful reporting to support decision-making. Responsibilities include:
* Producing accurate and timely financial reports in line with IFRS and supporting international teams with their reporting needs
* Managing cashflow forecasting across all entities, with oversight of accounts receivable and payable
* Preparing monthly management accounts and business performance insights for senior management
* Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and proactively investigating variances
* Preparing and interpreting cashflow, balance sheet, and trend analyses to support decision-making
* Overseeing VAT returns, EC Sales lists, and other statutory submissions to HMRC
* Supporting project accounting and monthly project margin/analysis reviews
* Preparing year-end accounts and liaising with auditors and external accountants across multiple countries
* Ensuring timely payments for suppliers, payroll, VAT, PAYE and taxes across all operating jurisdictions
* Ensuring correct recharge of billable expenses to clients
* Supporting continuous improvement of financial processes and risk-management mechanisms
* Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, bankers, and advisors
About You
We’d love to hear from candidates who bring:
* A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
* Experience in a similar finance role within a fast-paced environment
* Strong experience preparing management accounts, financial reporting and reconciliations
* Excellent understanding of accounting principles and processes
* High competence in Excel and modern accounting systems (Business Central experience a strong plus)
* A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multicultural teams
