Content Manager at a leadership & development consultancy.
Salary: Max £45,000
Working Model: Fully remote (must be based within the UK)
Salt has partnered with a specialist firm that provides leadership & development training for businesses across the country and overseas.
For over 10 years, they have supported individuals in their growth and developed the companies they work within, emphasizing diversity and inclusion at their core.
The company is on an impressive growth journey, aiming to increase from a £7 million ARR to £40 million ARR in the next few years.
This is a new role within their expanding Marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Director. It is ideal for someone who can start immediately and create, collate, and develop compelling content.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled writer and editor with a curious and innovative style. They should be proficient in modern content marketing techniques, including social media and multi-format content utilization. Additionally, they should be organized, data-driven, and focused on key success metrics.
Note: This role is fully remote but requires the candidate to be based within the UK.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop content strategy aligned with marketing goals.
2. Plan and develop site content, style, and layout.
3. Generate content ideas.
4. Write, create, edit, and publish engaging content.
5. Optimize content for SEO.
6. Analyze website traffic and engagement metrics.
7. Manage content distribution across online channels and social media.
8. Develop an editorial calendar.
Requirements and skills:
1. 4+ years of experience as a Content Writer/Manager.
2. Experience addressing a B2B audience.
3. Experience as a Content Manager in the Education, Mentoring, or HR industry.
4. Proficiency in content writing and management.
5. Hands-on experience with MS Office and WordPress.
6. Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
7. Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
