We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Team Leader to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in ensuring that our bar operates smoothly and efficiently during events while delivering exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a solid understanding of bartending and food safety practices. Experience working in the live music sector is welcomed.
Duties
* Lead and manage the bar team, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality are maintained at all times.
* Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
* Train and mentor team members in bartending techniques, food safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods, including food preparation when necessary.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
* Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.
* Lead the team to reach and exceed KPIs set by senior management
Requirements
* Proven experience in bartending within a hospitality or restaurant environment is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly disposition towards guests.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
* Previous experience in entertainment venues will be advantageous.
