What you’ll be doing
As a Moderator (Electrotechnical T Level), you will support the quality assurance of internally assessed, externally moderated assessments.
Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting provider moderation visits
*
Reviewing and moderating provider marking in line with quality assurance guidelines
*
Documenting moderation, quality assurance, and advisory activities
*
Providing advice and guidance to providers on marking, evidence collection, and assessment practice
*
Producing detailed reports and feedback highlighting best practice and areas for improvement
*
Participating in training and standardisation activities to ensure consistent national standards

What we’re looking for
We are seeking occupational experts within Electrotechnical Engineering who can demonstrate:

Strong industry experience within Building Services / Electrotechnical Engineering

A thorough understanding of assessment, quality assurance, and moderation processes

Experience working within further education, training providers, or awarding organisations
*
The ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to centres
*
Strong written communication skills for report writing
*
Availability to undertake provider visits during the moderation window
