6-month Fixed Term Contract
Reporting to the OOH Independent National Sales Manager, you will provide office-based support to the Business Development Manager (BDM) field sales team to drive sales of our total coffee solution (coffee, equipment, side products & technical services). You will focus on qualifying leads, prospecting new business and following up on sales proposals to contribute to revenue growth across the Out-of-Home Industry (OOHI) channel.
The Role
* Identify and contact potential new business operators to generate qualified leads
* Build and maintain target lists, ensuring opportunities are tracked in CRM
* Prepare, issue, and follow up proposals, responding promptly on behalf of BDMs when required
* Drive organic growth by cross-selling coffee, equipment upgrades, and side products to existing customers
* Confidently communicate the UCC product range and articulate key benefits to customers
* Build strong relationships with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Install, Service) to ensure seamless delivery for customers
* Support the resolution of service escalations and coordinate equipment installations where needed
* Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and incentives to boost sales and engagement
* Monitor lead-to-conversion ratios and sales activity, ensuring accurate CRM and pipeline data
* Contribute to reporting and dashboards to track progress against growth targets
* Support the OOH National Sales Manager & BDMs by assisting with a broad range of adhoc tasks and projects as required to realise department and Company goals
The Person
* Proven experience in inside sales, tele-sales, or business development
* Proficient in Microsoft 365, CRM systems, and comfortable using data to drive performance
* Commercially minded with the ability to qualify leads, identify growth opportunities, and influence buying decisions
* Ambitious, achievement orientated and ability to use own initiative
* Confident communicator with strong customer engagement and relationship-building skills
* Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Collaborative, adaptable, and demonstrates UCC Coffee values in all interactions
