We are seeking a Deputy Clinical Team Manager for Oxfordshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). Candidates may include Registered Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Family Therapists, or Psychotherapists. The role involves supporting the Clinical Team Manager by undertaking clinical and operational duties to ensure high-quality service delivery to children and young people.

You will be part of a dynamic local leadership team that meets regularly and collaborates closely. We offer a supportive environment with regular managerial meetings and opportunities for coaching or mentoring.
Main duties of the job
1. Conduct mental health and risk assessments for children and young people within the Getting Help Team, on urgent or routine basis, based on individual needs.
2. Collaborate with CYP families and external agencies to develop holistic, evidence-based care plans.
3. Manage a small clinical caseload, including key working and providing evidence-based support.
4. Participate in the CAMHS duty rota for Getting Help/Getting More Help, responding to children and young people presenting with risk while awaiting service support.

Person Specification
Training and Qualifications (Essential)
* A registered qualification in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, or psychological therapy.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development and qualification maintenance.
Desirable
* Degree/diploma in relevant professional knowledge.
* Doctoral qualification in clinical or counselling psychology with HCPC registration.
* Teaching/mentoring qualification.
* Leadership training.
Experience (Essential)
* Significant post-qualification experience in mental health with young people.
* Experience mentoring and supervising others.
Desirable
* Experience in educational settings.
* Experience working with children with serious mental illness and their families in the community.
Knowledge and Skills (Essential)
* Ability to manage caseloads and act as a care coordinator.
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and liaise with external agencies.
* Assessment skills for mental health, health, and social needs.
* Understanding of clinical audit, research, and service evaluation principles.
* Adherence to professional standards and codes of practice.
