The Role of the Technical Coach - Women’s First Team
We seek an innovative technical coach to support our Women’s First Team Head Coach, helping develop our women’s football program and prepare the team for competitions in Tier 5 and beyond. The role involves session planning, tactical analysis, player development, and collaboration with staff to build a competitive team.
Main Responsibilities
1. Assist in planning, delivering, and reviewing training sessions for the women’s team.
2. Align with the club’s coaching philosophy and style of play, maintaining detailed records.
3. Engage with the Head Coach on team strategy and player selection, fostering healthy debate.
4. Support team competition and match preparations, including tactical analysis and game strategy.
5. Build positive relationships with players, motivating and developing their potential.
6. Contribute to a positive team culture and support individual development plans.
7. Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop players and prepare the team to win.
8. Attend matches and support recruitment and squad management activities.
9. Participate in club events and ongoing professional development.
10. Ensure safeguarding protocols are followed and report concerns appropriately.
11. Support mentoring and self-development initiatives.
12. Perform other relevant tasks as directed by the coaching staff.
