We are seeking an inspiring and nurturing Reception Teacher to join a committed early years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the educational foundations of our youngest learners in a supportive and creative environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Reception Year Teaching Assistant:
* Plan and deliver stimulating lessons that reflect the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
* Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that supports all areas of early development
* Use observational assessment and continuous provision to monitor progress and guide next steps
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, staff, and families to ensure the best outcomes for every child
* Foster strong relationships with pupils and parents, promoting a positive start to school life
* Support school-wide events, trips, and initiatives in line with whole-school priorities
Ideal Reception Year Teacher:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching in EYFS or Reception class
* Be confident in delivering early phonics, maths, and language-rich activities
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
* Be passionate about learning through play, child-led exploration, and outdoor education a Reception Year Teaching Assistant.
* Be reflective, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement
