Are you a hands-on Finance Manager with a proven track record of driving change and implementing new financial systems?
We are partnering with an outstanding manufacturing business that has built an excellent reputation for quality, innovation, and operational excellence. As the business continues to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join the leadership team and play a key role in enhancing financial processes, controls, and reporting capabilities.
The Role
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of the finance function while leading a significant systems improvement project. This is a highly visible role that combines day-to-day financial management with strategic change and transformation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the implementation of a new finance/ERP system from planning through to successful deployment
* Managing monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
* Driving improvements in financial controls, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiencies
* Partnering with operational and manufacturing teams to provide commercial insight and decision support
* Managing and developing the finance teamSupporting year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
* Delivering meaningful financial analysis to support business growth and profitability
About You
We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading change.
You will ideally possess:
* Qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment
* Proven experience implementing or leading the rollout of a finance system or ERP platform
* Strong management accounting and financial reporting skills
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
* A proactive, hands‑on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing a finance team
