**Team Manager, Investigations** Location: Hybrid Contracted to our Wilmslow office, however, we offer flexible home and office-based working opportunities. There will be times when you will be expected to attend the office to collaborate with colleagues or travel due to business need. Please note, from Autumn 2026 our head office will relocate from Wilmslow to Manchester city centre.Further details can be found on the benefits section of our**Job summary** proportionate, predictable, fit for purpose and able to withstand appropriate external scrutiny and challenge.**Job description** **Key responsibilities:**To acquire and maintain a thorough working knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory and other guidance.Experience relevant to the role requirements, as described in the role responsibilities and person specification, and accumulated through any combination of academic or vocational qualifications or experience Substantial relevant experience of conducting / managing civil or criminal investigations or proceedings or significant investigations of a highly complex nature.Ability to translate strategic and regulatory priorities into clear outcome-focused objectives.Ability to make effective decisions based on sound judgement, evidence, experience and knowledge ensuring that relevant risks are identified and managed appropriately.Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams or matrix management experience.Ability to translate strategic and regulatory priorities into clear outcome-focused objectives.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate with conviction and clarity in the face of tough negotiations or challenges.Ability to display passion and enthusiasm for the work, helping to inspire colleagues and stakeholders to fully engage with the aims and long term vision.Ability to embed a culture of inclusion and equal opportunity for all, where the diversity of individuals’ backgrounds and experiences are valued and respectedAbility to make effective decisions based on sound judgement, evidence, experience and knowledge ensuring that relevant risks are identified and managed appropriately.Ability to seek out, manage and influence opportunities for continuous improvement and change.Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams or matrix management experience.Please note that post holders for this role will be required to receive security clearance to, at least, SC level. This requires the disclosure of spent and unspent convictions. Although convictions will be taken into account, any such information will not necessarily prevent you from obtaining a security clearance.
