JOB TITLE: Assistant Manager Treasury Reporting (12 Months FTC)

SALARY: £43,803 – £48,670

LOCATION(S): Edinburgh

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

Finance is key to that success by securing and building the financial strength and performance of the Bank. In Group Finance Support (GFS) we're key to delivering that strength though co-ordination, production, analysis and assurance of statutory returns and disclosures for the group.

Treasury reporting, is a key team, in GFS and are responsible for:

1. Enrichment of data within the groups key reporting systems

2. Producing regulatory returns

3. Completion of notes to the ARA

4. Ensuring control over our numbers

We're seeking a candidate who is ready to take on a new challenge and continue their professional development in an exciting and rewarding environment. The Bank is in a period of significant transformation and this role is seen as key to the future development and success of the team.

What are your responsibilities?

5. Perform procedural tasks to support the reporting process.

6. Carry out tasks in support of management of internal client relationships.

7. Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting that data into standard formats.

8. Preparation of journals to ensure accuracy of financials.

9. Balance of Substantiation (BoS) of a number of account lines.

10. Support a robust control environment.

You’ll also actively model the Group’s core values and behaviours, take ownership and help drive a belief in continual process improvement. Most importantly you’ll support the development of others.

What you’ll need

11. You'll be a dedicated finance professional with a proven track record of excellence, preferably within the financial services sector.

12. Ability to support junior team members to achieve business objectives.

13. Proven aptitude for delivering projects at pace.

14. Challenge the status-quo and incorporate real time feedback.

15. Ideally you'll be a qualified finance professional.

16. Strong analytical skills and a drive to contribute to the success of the business are critical.

17. A confident verbal communicator with an ability to influence at all levels.
