Our Adult Supported Living Home is looking for Life Practitioners to join our team at Bridge House, Surfleet, Lincolnshire.
We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Life Practitioner to support individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs. As a Life Practitioner you will help them live fulfilling, independent lives by assisting with daily activities and accompanying them on community trips.
To drive the company vehicle you must hold a full UK driver’s licence or have driven in the UK for at least 2 years. Starting rates are £12.71 (Level 1), £13.10 (Level 2) and £13.60 (Level 3) for those with experience. You will have the opportunity to improve your skills through our competency framework, unlocking pathways to increased hourly rates.
Responsibilities
Provide essential support to people with severe learning disabilities and complex needs, assisting with daily activities and accompanying them on community outings, appointments and meals.
Qualifications
* Compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated demeanor
* Genuine passion for care and motivation to contribute to others’ progression
* Strong team player, resilient, confident to ask for support
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Computer literacy
* Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it
* Held a valid UK driver’s licence for at least 2 years
