An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef to join the brigade at one of Essex’s most respected independent coastal hotels.
Set on the seafront and operating to a 2AA Rosette standard, Roslin Beach Hotel is a well-established luxury property with a strong food reputation, covering refined restaurant dining, private events, afternoon tea and wider hotel food operations.
This is an opportunity to join a structured, professional kitchen where standards matter, produce is respected, and there is genuine opportunity to develop under experienced leadership.
The Role
You will work as part of a quality-driven brigade, supporting service across the hotel’s food offering while continuing to develop your technical and operational skills.
You will:
* Run your section with consistency and strong organisation
* Support service within a fresh-food, quality-led kitchen
* Work across restaurant, hotel dining and event service as required
* Assist with prep, mise en place, stock control and ordering
* Maintain strong standards of food safety, cleanliness and section management
* Support and mentor junior chefs where appropriate
* Contribute positively to brigade culture and day-to-day kitchen standards
About You
This role may suit:
* An established Chef de Partie ready to step toward Junior Sous level
* A Junior Sous Chef seeking a strong, stable hotel environment
* A chef with fresh-food experience from quality pubs, restaurants or hotels
* Someone who values standards, structure and long-term development
Experience in rosette-level or quality hotel kitchens would be advantageous, though strong fresh-food backgrounds will be considered.
