Technical Administrator

📍 Location: LS18

💰 Salary: up to £30k – DOE


We are looking for a proactive, detail-focused Technical Administrator to join a growing and fast-paced organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, data management, and supporting technical operations within a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate will bring experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAGE X3), alongside a structured and methodical approach to managing data and processes.


Working closely with the Technical Manager and wider team, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance processes, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of technical administration.


Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and update product and material records within internal systems, including ERP platforms and automated batch systems (HMI). This includes adding and amending new products, managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), and ensuring testing requirements are accurately maintained.
* Oversee and maintain internal databases. Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to gather and manage technical documentation such as safety data sheets, specifications, and compliance questionnaires.
* Assist in maintaining robust processes that support traceability and workflow efficiency. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve ongoing issues and carry out basic checks where required.
* Manage and organise electronic documentation, ensuring proper storage and archiving. Support the preparation of specifications and declarations, and assist in creating documentation using specialist systems.
* Maintain certification and compliance records.
* Provide support in preparing samples for exhibitions and events.

About You

* Confident working with ERP systems and managing structured data (experience with SAGE X3 and/or HMI systems is advantageous)
* Experienced in maintaining product data, including BOMs and testing requirements
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable working across multiple systems and handling large volumes of data
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise across teams and external partners
* Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Previous experience in a technical or administrative role is desirable
