About the Role
This 12-month contract role focuses on engine validation within the 5000 Series diesel product development program. The candidate will ensure new diesel engine technologies and systems meet performance standards through testing, analysis, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
* Validate diesel engines, systems, and components.
* Develop and manage validation plans.
* Coordinate test activities and analyze results.
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
* Produce technical reports and documentation.
* Collaborate globally with teams.
Essential Skills:
1. Experience in root cause analysis.
2. Knowledge of internal combustion engine validation.
3. Strong communication and technical report writing skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
* 3+ years of experience in engine validation.
* Familiarity with failure analysis methods (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
* Knowledge of industrial diesel engine systems.
* Experience with data analysis tools.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Desirable Experience:
* Knowledge of relevant products and processes.
* Exposure to noise and vibration testing.
* Background in automotive, aerospace, or large machine validation.

* Location: Onsite 5 days a week, Stafford facility.
* Work Hours: 37 hours/week (Mon-Thurs: 08:00-16:30, Fri: 08:00-13:00) with some flexibility and overtime opportunities.
