We are looking for a Primary Teacher for our New Acorn Education School – Manor Wood School, Bishopsworth. The school will have capacity for 80pupils and is due to open May 2025. The school will be a co-educational provision for pupils with complex needs including SEMH.

* Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)

About the role
This is a great opportunity for a Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for pupilswith varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.
When it comes to looking after our pupils, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a Primary Teacher experienced in teaching a range of subjects and who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN/ASC environment would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
The successful candidate will have a lead area across the school, subject to be confirmed following interview.
Educated to degree level and/or of Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupilto reach their potential
