We have a newly created position for a Marketing Assistant to join our busy and friendly Marketing team based in Salisbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior marketer with a genuine interest to learn and develop to assist the Head of Marketing on all aspects of marketing, communications and business development for the firm.
This role offers hands‑on experience across a broad range of marketing activities with opportunities for development and progression.
The work you'll be doing
Duties and responsibilities include
* Assisting with event planning, organising the guest list, preparing event collateral and producing PowerPoint slides
* Supporting and attending all externally run events (outside work hours on occasions), meeting and greeting guests and liaising with venue hosts
* Supporting and attending all internally run events (outside work hours on occasions), meeting and greeting guests, dealing with all back‑office functions and liaising with the client services team
* Assisting the Head of Marketing to ensure the firm's website is kept relevant and up to date
* Helping to deliver marketing campaigns across email and social media
* Supporting with brand awareness and sponsorships
* Contributing to social media engagement on LinkedIn
* Regularly reviewing and updating the firm's database on Excel
* Assisting on internal communications
Skills and attributes
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
* Organisational skills, prioritising and working across multiple projects
* Confident and positive attitude
* Strong verbal and written communications skills
* Ability to work flexibly in a team or independently, as required
* Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Previous experience of event organisation and planning
* Previous experience with social media platforms, specifically LinkedIn
