Key Responsibilities
* Engage with the public in high-footfall areas such as shopping centres, high streets, events, and door-to-door environments.
* Promote the charity’s mission, values, and ongoing campaigns clearly and passionately.
* Secure regular and one-off donations through persuasive, ethical, and compliant fundraising conversations.
* Build strong rapport with potential donors, answering questions and addressing concerns confidently.
* Represent the charity professionally, ensuring a friendly, positive, and trustworthy presence.
* Meet or exceed daily and weekly fundraising targets as set by team leaders.
* Accurately record donor information following GDPR and data-protection guidelines.
* Work collaboratively with team members to achieve group goals and maintain a motivated atmosphere.
* Attend training sessions to stay informed about new campaigns, fundraising techniques, and compliance standards.
