We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Support Worker (Higher Level) to join our Medicines Management Replenishment and Clinical Support Team. This is an exciting time to join Mersey Care as we prepare to implement near‑patient pharmacy satellite services across selected sites.
You will play a key role in supporting wards and clinics across the Trust, ensuring the safe, timely and effective supply of medicines to service users. Applicants with community pharmacy experience are welcome to apply. Suitable applicants must possess an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to apply.
Locations
* Long moor House – covers other wards and clinics within the locality (1 permanent post)
* Mossley Hill Hospital – covers other wards and clinics within the locality (1 fixed‑term post)
* Hollins Park Hospital – covers other wards and clinics within the locality
All roles will require flexibility to work across the full Mersey Care footprint.
Participate in the seven‑day medicines supply service.
Replenish and manage stock levels in wards, clinics and departments across the Trust’s geographical footprint.
Dispense and supply medicines.
Contribute to audits and the safe use of automated dispensing systems.
Work flexibly across secure and non‑secure sites, supporting the delivery of high‑quality pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications & Requirements
* NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services (essential)
* Experience and knowledge of pharmacy procedures
* Excellent communication and IT skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach
* Travel across multiple sites, including secure environments – own vehicle required
* Flexible to support rotas, weekend working and other needs
