Contract with a Local Authority Job Summary: • The Support Worker will work as an integral member of the care team, ensuring a safe, supportive, and person-centred environment for individuals residing at the service. • The role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and respect for service users, supporting their individual and group needs while adhering to organisational values and policies. Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample): • Provide practical and emotional support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being. • Assist in the planning, delivery, and review of personalised care plans, assuming keyworker responsibilities where required. • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. • Support service users in decision-making processes while respecting their rights under the Human Rights Act and Mental Capacity Act. • Uphold safeguarding policies to protect vulnerable individuals from abuse and neglect. • Complete administrative duties, participate in team meetings, supervisions, and training. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection and health and safety regulations.
