About You
Ideally you will have had exposure to working in a laboratory with textiles, chemicals, coatings or dyes this could be during your studies or in employment
You should have an analytical mindset and be able to provide accurate analysis and reporting of your findings
Youll need to be a people-person and will enjoy collaborating with internal teams including product development and production
With your high attention to detail, you will thrive on providing top-tier, critical information to your team
Youll have patience, independence and a passion for textiles
The ability to multi-task, prioritise and shift your focus is needed for this role
About The Role
Youll join as Laboratory Technician and will work in support of the Product Development Manager
Your primary responsibilities will be day to day testing of incoming samples, raw materials, in-process and finished goods using various testing methods
You should have a good eye for colour and will need to undertake a test at interview stage
You will record, review, file and report findings of all testing, escalating any anomalies and making suggestions for improvement
Ensuring all equipment is clean and in good working order, ready for next use
