Grade: G scp 23 £34,434 to H scp 31 £41,771 (contract: permanent)
Essential Qualification: Either AAT or part-qualified CCAB. Candidates achieving full CCAB will be appointed as Grade H.
Responsibilities
* Deliver strategic financial monitoring across Adults, Children’s and Housing services.
* Assist in statutory accounting and budget planning.
* Support strategic decision‑making, ensuring financial integrity.
* Contribute to the efficient operation of the accounting team.
* Use innovative IT solutions to improve financial systems and provide advice and guidance to colleagues and external partners.
Qualifications
* AAT qualified or part-qualified CCAB accountant.
* Full CCAB qualification (for Grade H).
* Proficient in using IT solutions for financial management.
