Job Description
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
3. Leader of the Quality Compliance Team
4. Responsible for leading a team of Quality Auditors
5. Interacts cross-functionally and cross-BU and presents to the Exec Team as required on all
6. Quality Management System Issues. In addition, has regular (weekly) contact with customers
7. and regulatory bodies on quality issues.
8. Leadership of BMS system projects from Safran Group
9. Focal for Safety Management System (SMS) requirements
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Regulatory Compliance should have:
10. Engineering / Manufacturing related discipline.
11. Lean / 6 Sigma knowledge and general improvement tools
12. In-depth knowledge of Aerospace Regulations eg EASA, FAA, AS9100 etc (Essential)
13. 8D analysis and report writing
14. Risk Analysis
15. Preferred AS9100 Lead Assessor, EASA Part 21/145, FAA 145 auditor
16. Experience of dealing with regulatory authorities
17. Quality and production experience
18. Competent in MS packages
19. Problem solving skills (including 8D, 5 whys)
20. Leadership and / or management qualification
