A vacancy has arisen for a Clerical Assistant within Finance and Corporate Resources. This role involves working in our busy HR absence and occupational health team, processing absence-related requests and referrals, and providing proactive support to employees and managers regarding HR enquiries and policies.
The team’s workload is deadline-focused; therefore, you must be proactive, reliable, and capable of organising and managing your workload effectively with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a personal commitment to delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service are essential.
The successful applicant must have excellent IT skills, be reliable and flexible, and able to work as part of a team professionally, exercising confidentiality and discretion at all times.
The successful candidate will receive support and training to enable them to perform to their full potential and contribute to the development of the Council’s HR service.
