The Residential Rehabilitation Educator position offers a great opportunity to work in the Human Services field. In this program, adults with mental illness share a home in the community. Our residential staff supports them to reach their goals by teaching daily living skills, assisting with psychiatric symptom management, ensuring physical health, and improving quality of life.
Join our team and play an essential role in enabling adults with mental illness to live as actively and independently as possible!
Responsibilities Include
* Teaching daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and social skills
* Implementing treatment plans to help clients reach their goals or manage symptoms
* Administering medications
* Transporting clients to doctor’s appointments and social activities
* Using electronic health record systems for client documentation
Schedule: Thurs, Fri, Sat 11p-9a
Hourly rate: $20.00

Required Skills
* Patience and ability to interact with individuals with disabilities
* Dependability, flexibility, and a desire to help others
* Computer proficiency and ability to learn electronic health record systems
* Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and access to a personal vehicle at some sites
Required Experience
* Experience in human services or coursework in Psychology, Social Work, or related fields
* CPR/FA and MAP certification required
* BA/BS in Psychology or related field preferred
