Plant Maintenance Engineer
Full-time, Permanent position
Salary: up to £41,000 per annum with OT & Bonus structure
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, Friday 07:00 to 14:00
Our welcoming client is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer with electrical experience for the position.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be the main technician responsible for effective maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant, building, and equipment. Working with the client's in-house engineering team, you will report to the senior engineer and be a key part of the wider plant team.
Candidate requirements:
* Some experience in mechanical engineering, with a stronger bias towards electrical & maintenance engineering.
* Completed an engineering apprenticeship or similar level 3 qualifications.
Main responsibilities include:
* Attending to mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment, and building issues.
* Carrying out safety tests as required.
* Starting up and shutting down processing plant, equipment, and facilities.
* Undertaking planned preventative maintenance to ensure optimal use and minimal downtime.
* Following procedures laid out in BS EN ISO 9001:2000 / 14001, Local Working Instructions, and the Company Operations Manual.
* Supporting building maintenance and other ad hoc tasks.
* Participating in scheduled Saturday morning PPM tasks once a month.
