Are you a passionate and experienced EYFS practitioner looking for your next adventure? Do you thrive in warm, welcoming environments where children come first and every day is a little bit different? If so, we’d love to hear from you! We’re on the lookout for a caring, committed, and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team as soon as possible, or from September 2025.
This is a full-time role based in our small, rural primary school just outside Wareham, Dorset – a stunning location surrounded by countryside and not far from the coast. Our school is a little gem – small in size but big on heart. We pride ourselves on our nurturing ethos, supportive leadership team, and fantastic facilities that help bring learning to life for our children. From our beautiful outdoor spaces to our well-equipped EYFS classroom, everything we do is centred around giving our pupils the best possible start to their education journey.
We’re looking for someone who:
1. Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years
2. Has previous experience working with children in an EYFS setting
3. Is warm, patient, and enthusiastic about helping little learners grow and shine
4. Works well as part of a team but is also confident using their own initiative
5. Is ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in – whether it’s outdoor play, messy art activities, or phonics groups!
In return, we can offer:
1. A genuinely supportive SLT who value their staff and put wellbeing first
2. A team of kind, experienced colleagues who will welcome you with open arms
3. Beautiful surroundings to work in every day – think fields, fresh air, and friendly faces
4. Opportunities for development and progression if that’s something you’re looking for
5. A real sense of community and purpose – we’re all here to make a difference
If you’re ready to bring your EYFS expertise to a school where your work truly matters, we’d love to chat.
