Plumber (Qualified) - Temp Position - Planned & Reactive Maintenance - Cambridge Are you a skilled Qualified Plumber looking for a challenging and rewarding temporary role in Cambridge? We are working with a rapidly growing Facilities Management company dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients. We're looking for a reliable, professional, and experienced plumber to join our team on a temporary basis to help us manage a busy workload of planned and reactive maintenance tasks. The Role This is a temporary position where you will be responsible for providing high-quality plumbing services across a site in Cambridge. Your main duties will include: Reactive Maintenance: Diagnosing and resolving a wide range of plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, burst pipes, and system failures, in a timely and professional manner. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Conducting routine inspections, servicing, and upkeep of plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances to ensure optimal performance and compliance. Installation and Repair: Carrying out necessary repairs, replacements, and minor installations (e.g., taps, toilets, sinks, hot water cylinders). Documentation: Accurately completing job sheets, reporting on work carried out, and managing stock/materials. What We Are Looking For Essential: A recognised plumbing qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds). Proven experience working in planned and reactive maintenance within a commercial or facilities management environment. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload efficiently.
