About the program
Wesley Mission’s Emergency Relief Sydney program is designed to reach those most in need across a diverse area. We partner with local organizations to provide emergency relief through accessible community services across regions such as Central Coast, Newcastle & Lake Macquarie, Blacktown, City & Inner South, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, Outer Southwest, Outer West & Blue Mountains, Southwest, and Sutherland.
About the role
The Emergency Relief Worker will ensure the seamless delivery of emergency support via partner organizations to community members experiencing financial hardship. Responsibilities include:
* Conducting phone and face-to-face assessments
* Maintaining accurate client records in Wesley Mission’s data system
* Processing client brokerage requests
* Inducting partners into the program
* Managing budgets and voucher allocations
* Building positive relationships with partner organizations

Remuneration
Salary and conditions are aligned with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 0, Level 5, with salary packaging options. Superannuation is paid additionally.
