This position is based in the company's Belfast office. Monday - Friday position. Hybrid working is available (80% in the office / 20% at home)

Key Responsibilities
* Source, select and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best commercial outcomes
* Raise and manage purchase orders in line with demand forecasts and stock requirements
* Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance against KPIs
* Identify cost-saving and value-adding opportunities
* Ensure compliance with internal procedures and relevant regulations
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to support business needs
The Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 2 year's experience in a buyer role managing product categories or portfolios within the food retail or wholesale industry or FMCG
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
* Proven success in delivering commercial outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
