This role is to start ASAP. It is a fabulous opportunity for a Classroom Support Assistant that enjoys working on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis with children with additional needs. This is a large specialist school for students with moderate, severe, and profound and multiple learning difficulties, and autistic conditions between the ages of 5-16 years.
This is a setting with a palpable buzz and feel-good atmosphere where the children feel safe and enabled in all aspects of their learning. Requirements
* Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential)
* Relevant teaching Assistant and SEN experience (desirable)
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities
* Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
* Supporting learners with severe and complex needs
* Working with the teacher to support the learning objectives
