The Role:
We are seeking a modelmaker to assist in the creation and delivery of unique customer designs and products. You will work on creating toy products for one of our customers. This will involve a variety of skills including moulding and casting, painting and assembly. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves hands-on work, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to continually develop new skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the fabrication and delivery of custom designs and products.
* Work confidently with plastics, and other materials.
* Operate hand tools, and specialist equipment safely and effectively.
* Assist with 3D printing.
* Communicate professionally with team members.
* Work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing project needs.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a workshop environment.
* Proficiency in hand tools, machinery, and fabrication techniques.
* Proficient with moulding and casting.
* Proficient at painting.
* Familiarity with resin 3D printers is an advantage.
* Comfortable dealing with customers and suppliers in a polite, professional manner.
* Flexible approach to working hours and a positive attitude to problem-solving.
