Robert Half are partnering with a well-established family office based in Mayfair to recruit an accounts assistant to support their finance team. This junior-level role is a permanent position, with 5 days per week in the office. Salary is £31-33k, depending on experience.
Key responsibilities
1. Ownership of purchase ledger across group entities
2. Process all supplier invoices and manage the month end processes for accounts payable
3. Responsible for coding of invoices to ensure accurate reporting
4. Prepare and submit supplier payment runs, including posting to the ledger
5. Manage the Document Capture system in MS Dynamics which helps with the efficient processing of invoices
6. Help to oversee approval workflows and processes
7. Analysis and processing of expenses claims, including corporate credit cards
8. Manage supplier relationships, answering queries and challenging where appropriate
9. Liaise with the finance and execution team internally to answer queries
10. Support the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks, projects, and reporting as required
11. Make multi-currency payments across numerous bank accounts we hold for the different entities
12. Manage and maintain cashbooks, including performing regular bank reconciliations
13. Perform monthly supplier statements reconciliation to ensure ledger accuracy
14. Conduct weekly reviews of the AP ledger, including aged balances and debit positions, to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies
Preferred Skills
15. Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics BC (Desirable)
16. Experience working on Purchase ledgers
17. Competent with MS Office Excel and Outlook
