Our teams deliver evidence-based services focused on housing navigation and tenancy preservation—helping people secure and maintain safe, stable homes. Eliot’s Homeless Services Division is seeking an Assistant Director of Cambridge Services to help run the daily program activities and work with the Program Director including being a point person to outside agencies in the city. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader. They will have the ability to forge and maintain positive and productive working relationships with the City of Cambridge. Responsibilities: Ensure that harm reduction, housing first, and trauma informed philosophies remain core tenets of care coordination, support service provision and program oversight as applicable. Support Director of Cambridge Services with oversight of general operations and support service provision within all Cambridge and MassHealth funded sites and services including CSP-HI, Residential projects, and Cambridge Coordinated Access Network (CCAN). Provide real-time guidance and support to the program and field staff addressing high-risk client needs. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships within Eliot Programs and outside agencies and make appropriate referrals based on identified needs and treatment preferences. Provide weekly supervision to assigned staff. Oversee all aspects of hiring, onboarding, and supervision for program staff. Serve as the primary liaison to the City of Cambridge, ensuring CCAN contract compliance, model fidelity, and timely completion of required reports. Collaborate with the City of Cambridge, CCAN, landlords/developers, vendors, and community-based stakeholders to support tenancies, coordinate case conferencing, and proactively prevent evictions. Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology or related field Minimum 3 years’ experience with at least 2 being in a supervisory capacity within a program that supports the unhoused population and/or individuals with complex chronic behavioral health and/or medical concerns. Experience in monitoring quality assurance. Expertise around collaboratively formulating and operationalizing supportive care plans and real time interventions to address compelling risk. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for the transportation of clients as needed.
